360 life lost at the street during Lebaran Idul Fitri
Since the “D”day minus 7 until the “D”day plus 2, the traffic during lebaran idul fitri in Indonesia was so crowded. Report that receive from the the head command of “Ketupat Operation” that already held since September 25,2008 until tonight was recorded that the 836 accident happen in the street during lebaran idul fitri.
From the accident recorded that 360 people past away, and 451 people bad injured, and 752 people injured. The last accident that really tragic happen at Klaten and grobogan - east java- Indonesia, which are 11 people dead because of train and cars accident. Although many operation that held by police department already held for several time but to minimize these accident still far away from the best result.
As tradition that in Indonesia Lebaran Idul Fitri they believe that this is the good moment to meet their family although the distance is far away from the villages to the city. Mostly they will use ground transportation, but the driver has no discipline when driving their vehicle.
